American recording artist, actress and Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson has finally returned to the music scene with an unexpected new single called “Remember Me“.
Don’t worry is not a re-worked version from her second studio album “I Remember Me”, launched back in 2011. This time, the American Idol finalist is back with a powerful and piano-driven uptempo ballad when we can enjoy her soulful and heartrending vocals.
The track also includes a gospel choir, and it’s confirmed as a first taste of her upcoming and awaited fourth studio album, follow-up to 2014’s “JHUD”.
“Remember Me” was launched on digital retailers and streaming services on March 3rd. The official music video, which was directed by Emil Nava, was premiered through Vevo on Monday, April 10th.
