“Darkness and Light” is the fifth studio album by American recording artist and actor John Legend. It was released on December 2nd via Columbia Records as follow-up to 2013’s “Love In the Future“.
The lead single “Love Me Now“ was launched on October 7th. The album includes collaborations with Miguel, Chance The Rapper, Brittany Howard from Alabama Shakes and saxophonist Kumasi Washington.
The Chance The Rapper-assisted track “Penthouse Floor” was premiered on November 16th, while the album’s opening track “I Know Better” was released on November 25th.
A music video for the track “Surefire“, was premiered through Vevo on Monday, May 22nd. It was directed by Daniel Kaufman.
