After getting a Top 15 in the UK charts with “By Your Side”, English deejay, record producer, songwriter and remixer Guy James Robin, better known by his stage name Jonas Blue, is back with another anthem.
The song is called “Mama“, but don’t worry, it’s not a cover of the Spice Girls’ classic. It’s a lovely and quite catchy radio-ready dance-pop piece which includes the guest vocals of Sydney-based artist William Singe.
The chorus is pretty demolished with a great and infectious lyrics “Hey mama, don’t stress, don’t mind, we are coming home tonight!”. It was written by Guy himself along Ed Drewett and Sam Roman.
“Mama” was released on digital retailers and streaming services on May 5th as another taste taken from his upcoming full-length debut, due out sometime this year via Virgin EMI and Universal Music.
The summer-ready music video, which was directed by Sasha Nathwani, was premiered through Vevo on Thursday, May 18th.
