Maggie Rogers is an exciting newcomer American artist from Maryland who has impacted the music scene with her proper debut single “Alaska“.
She has been quite viral through Youtube and Spotify and receiving acclaim from artists like Pharrell Williams. It’s without a doubt, a quite interesting new artist with a peculiar sound and voice.
The single is just a lovely piece of folk-pop with a subtle pulsing base surrounded with her fragile voice. The singer is currently working on her debut EP “Now That the Light Is Fading“, which was released on February 16th.
The official music video was premiered through Vevo on October 18th and it was directed by Zia Anger. An acoustic version of the single was released on May 19th.
