About damn time! The return of the one and only pop star Miley Cyrus is fact and we are getting some taste of her anticipated sixth studio album sooner than you think.
The prolific multi-faceted artist released a brand new single called “Malibu” on Thursday, May 11th, as the first taste of the not-yet-titled next music project, which is expected to be released sometime in July via RCA Records and Sony Music Entertainment.
The song is described as “a breezy love song about Hemsworth — gimmick-free pop-rock, unlike anything she has recorded before“, according to Billboard.
The song was written by Oren Yoel and produced by Jamie Miller and Isaac Rice. The official music video, which was directed by Diane Martell was premiered the same day of the single’s release through Vevo.
