The return of Aly & AJ is finally a real fact and we are super excited about this. The pop duo formed by sisters Alyson Michalka and Amanda Joy Michalka, has returned with a surprise release and it’s gloriously good.
The song is called “Take Me” and it was premiered exclusively via Spotify on Friday, June 2nd. It’s a delicious slice of atmospheric pop music wrapped with a dreamy electronic melody and breathy vocals. Fantastic in every way and so glad they returned with a brand-new sound.
The single is the first taste taken from their long-awaited EP, which is expected to be launched on July 14th. The artwork of the single was shot by Stephen Ringer via No Big Deal.
The track becomes their first proper release since 2013’s “Hothouse“, and first after the attempt to start a new music career with alternate name as 78violet.
